Remember that big news we were on about? Well, here it is. In May Yuck ’n Yum will open an exhibition at SOIL Gallery in Seattle, USA. What is SOIL, I hear you ask? Well, SOIL was founded in 1995 as a not-for-profit cooperative space established, supported and operated by local artists. Yuck ’n Yum will present the work of artists like YOU, selected by open call.

The exhibition’s theme is Interregnum. We live in uncertain times when normal rules no longer apply. We’re inviting submissions from artists who are navigating this strange new world and trying to make sense of it all.

The show will run from Thursday May 3rd until Saturday June 2nd. We’ll be installing digital prints alongside projections and text, plus there’ll be performative elements at the simultaneous compendium launch in Seattle, USA and at Generator Projects in Dundee, Scotland.

So what do we want? Just a short proposal circa 200 words with 2 images of your previous work and/or a sketch (images 4MB max each or a link to your website). We’re offering £50 fee, deadline for proposals is Sunday 25th February with delivery of final digital works Saturday 31st March. Send submissions / queries to info@yucknyum.org
